While laying in a hospital bed following a fatal confrontation in Compton, Cle "Bone" Sloan told police that he punched Suge Knight through the window of his truck, according to a report obtained by the New York Daily News.
"I f**ked him up!" Sloan confessed to an investigator with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, adding that at one point, Knight attempted to exit the truck but was blocked by all the blows.
Sloan also confirmed to police, according to the report, that he and Knight had an argument earlier that day on the set of a shoot related to the production of the NWA biopic Straight Outta Compton, approximately three miles away from Tam's. He said before he was mowed down, someone warned him, "Look out!"
Terry Carter, the second man struck, later died from his injuries.
Knight's lawyer, Matthew Fletcher, says Sloan's alleged admission proves Knight was acting in self defense. “Our position from the very beginning has never changed and that’s that Suge was attacked and no one has come forward to present any other evidence to the contrary,” he told KCAL9.
The glaring discrepancy in Knight's and Sloan's accounts of the events of Jan. 29 is that Knight says Sloan had a gun. Sloan's manager denies that.
Today, the rap mogul remains behind bars without bail. He faces life in prison for murder, attempted murder and hit-and-run charges.
