It’s never easy carrying the weight of an entire coast on your shoulders, but for Los Angeles-based DJ Dynamix, it’s a welcomed challenge.

After winning the San Diego regional qualifier, the Left Coast champ looks to capitalize on his versatility.

“I'm listening to a lot of different music right now, which helps when prepping for a competition,” Dynamix told

As a professional orchestrator of audible emotion, Dynamix has come up with his perfect lineup of hits to make any club, car or Bar Mitzvah turn up on the spot.

Weeknd ‘Often,’ Kendrick Lamars ‘King Kunta,’ D'Angelo ‘Betray My Heart,’ Tuxedo’s  ‘Number One’ and Mark Ronson ‘I Can't Lose,”’ Dynamix said, referring to his winning formula.

Like Mark Ronson, Dynamix feels he can’t lose and, with some of his biggest influences like Z-Trip, DJ Jazzy Jeff and Four Color Zack, serving as judges for this year’s Red Bull Thre3style National Final in Phoenix, he’s already an L.A.
