A lot of artists think of creative ways for cool merchandise and collaborations, but this one takes the cake.

Last month, it was announced that Kendrick Lamar will be among other headliners (Calvin Harris, The Weeknd) at this year’s Sweetlife Festival. To celebrate K. Dot’s return (he was on the bill last year) and his album To Pimp a Butterfly, they teamed up to create their own salad inspired by him. The Beets Don’t Kale My Vibe salad will be available at all 29 Sweetgreen locations officially on Friday and all throughout May.

According to a press release, the salad contains “shredded local kale, roasted chicken, goat cheese, organic wild rice and flash roasted beets, which are marinated in balsamic vinegar, extra virgin olive oil and a hint of honey.” Sounds delicious, right?

10 percent of all proceeds from the Beets Don't Kale My Vibe salad will be donated to FoodCorps, which is their charity partner dedicated to help kids with healthy food and encourages childhood education in nutrition, fitness and health.

Be sure to catch K. Dot’s performance at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Md. is your No. 1 source for Black celebrity news, photos, exclusive videos and all the latest in the world of hip hop and R&B music.
