Chris Brown just wants to make his baby girl Royalty feel like a princess on her first birthday, but his issues with her mother Nia Guzman keep getting in the way. The singer and his baby mama are now at odds over plans for Royalty's first birthday party.
According to TMZ, Guzman claims the singer was a no-show at Royalty's party at a Houston area Chuck-E-Cheese. Through his rep, Brown responded that he would have loved to be at the party, but he had to shoot a music video in Miami on that same day. “Like any working parent, Chris is doing his best to prioritize the needs of his daughter,” the rep says. He currently has two new videos in rotation, "Fun" with Pitbull and "You Changed Me" with Jamie Foxx.
Reortedly, Breezy says he offered to fly Guzman, Royalty and the "entire family" to Disney World to celebrate her big first birthday in grand style, but his offer was rebuffed by Guzman.
The drama is especially problematic as the custody battle between Brown and Guzman over Royalty heats up. It's hard to understand why these two don't see eye-to-eye. It's not like Breezy has the time to be Royalty's primary caregiver over Guzman, and in the mean time seems to just be trying to be a part of his baby's life. Maybe Guzman's relationship with King Ba, who is currently listed on Royalty's birth certificate as her father, has something to do with it?
Either way, we hope these two can clean up their mess in time for Father's Day.
