Holograms aren't just for the dead anymore. Budweiser will be projecting a 40-foot version of Mary J. Blige to New York's Governor's Island as the R&B icon performs in-the-flesh underneath the Statue of Liberty on nearby Liberty Island, the company has announced.

The whole thing will be part of the Made in America festival, with the Budweiser-sponsored satelite event on Governor's Island (called the Monument Series) also boasting a performance by T-Pain, free burgers, and samples of Bud.

The event will be held this Sunday (June 21) starting at 7 p.m. ET with the hologram screening slated to begin at 9 p.m. The concert is part of the brewer's new partnership with the National Park Foundation and the Find Your Park movement. Both events are free and if you are 21 and over, you can apply for tickets here. Admission includes round-trip ferry transportation.

God bless America, and God bless Mary J.
