Sorry, Frank Ocean Fans, But You Won’t Be Seeing Him at FYF Fest

Kanye West replaces the R&B crooner at the last minute.

It’s Aug. 21 and we still don’t have a new project from Frank Ocean

Instead, fans were looking forward to his headlining set this weekend at L.A. Memorial Sports Arena & Exposition Park in California. After all, it’s the least he can do. Last month’s teasing of a new magazine (Boys Don’t Cry) and new album still has us salty. But now, there might be something fishy going on because he just canceled his appearance at the last minute.

“Frank Ocean has decided on his own terms to cancel his appearance,” wrote an official press release for FYF Fest. Don’t be discouraged just yet. 

Although Ocean isn’t performing, Kanye West is taking his place. ‘Ye has had some big concert moments this year alone, so don’t be surprised if he absolutely kills it on Saturday.
