Rapper's rep releases statement.

UPDATE: The multi-million dollar tax bil hanging over T.I. is on its way to being resolved. The rapper's rep acknowledged the debt in a short statement explaining that the Grand Hustle front man has already taken action. “Mr. Harris and his team are working with the appropriate parties to resolve this matter."

PREVIOUS: It’s a good thing T.I. and Tiny are still on their “family hustle,” because the tax man wants his money.

A federal tax lien was filed against the couple earlier in the month, for owing $4.5 million in back taxes, reports the New York Post. The tax debt is from the years 2012 and 2013.

T.I. and Tiny, whose birth names are Clifford Harris Jr. and Tameka Cottle, owe $1.4 million for 2012. However, a separate lien, totaling close to $3.2 million, was filed against Tip, for the following year.

The duo wed in a lavish Miami ceremony in 2010, and have a blended family of six children. Money doesn't seem to be an issue either. The Harris's reside in a 10,460 square-foot mansion, purchased by the Atlanta rapper in 2006.

They have not publicly commented on the tax debt.
