Solange will headline a benefit concert in New Orleans this weekend commemorating the 10-year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. Brad Pitts Make It Right Foundation is behind the event  “honoring the rebirth of a vital and vibrant community, and celebrating the rebuilding progress across this remarkable city.”

NOLA-native Christian Scott and DJ Soul Sister are on the bill alongside the “Losing You” singer, who will bring out a “special guest” (Beyoncé?) at the House of Blues Saturday night.

Solo has roots in New Orleans, the city that she now calls home. Her mother is of Creole descent and Beyoncé reportedly purchased a church-turned-mansion in the Big Easy earlier this year.
