After today’s court proceedings, Kanye West can officially put a two-year-old battery incident behind him.
The case wrapped up in Los Angeles today, and while 'Ye wasn’t present, lawyer Blair Berk gave the judge a letter from the Dean of Los Angeles Trade Technical College praising the Chicago MC's efforts. “The contribution of the hands-on community service Mr. West has completed with our school has been of great benefit to our students and program."

West took a plea deal for attacking a photographer at LAX airport in 2013. He apparently went above and beyond with community service, completing 262 hours at the fashion school instead of the 250 he was assigned.
As long as West doesn’t break his informal probation, the battery charge is expected to be wiped from his record.
