Rihanna’s ability to curve just about anybody has got to be one of the top reasons we love her.
Up to her old tricks, the queen of "no chill" has struck again and we are all here for it. If you’ve been following the antics on Taylor Swift’s 1989 tour, the country turned popstar has gotten many of the biggest names in music to join her on stage for a series of duets.
Well, all but one name.
In a recent interview with NME Magazine, Rihanna bluntly set the record straight for anybody hoping to see the bad gal hugged with music’s resident good girl. When asked if she’d ever join Swift on stage, Rihanna explained, ” I don’t think I would. I just don’t think it makes sense. I don’t think our brands are the same: I don’t think they match, I don’t think our audiences are the same.”
Insert side-eye emoji here.
Some reports are suggesting her response could have more to do with her allegiance to Katy Perry, but if we know Rihanna like we think we do, she doesn’t need a Taylor cameo.
To quote the greatest shade thrower in history, the late Whitney Houston, “Rihanna makes way too much money to ever perform on stage with Taylor Swift.
