Rapper hops on "Ain't That Funkin' Kinda Hard On You (Remix)?"
Kendrick Lamar hopped on a Funkadelic record, and the result is pure magic. George Clinton and the Funkadelic crew shared the Louie Vega remix to “Ain’t It That Funkin’ Kinda’ Hard On You?” today, featuring K Dot.
The track comes from Funkadelics’ 2014 album, First You Gotta Shake the Gate.
Lamar, meanwhile, slides into the groovy instrumental so easily, it feels like he’s a member of the band. The 28-year-old Compton MC previously worked with Clinton on To Pimp A Butterly.
