Chris Brown clocked another legal victory after winning joint custody of his daughter last week. Police in Colorado have closed the tour bus assault investigation involving Brown, and the alleged victim doesn’t want to press charges, TMZ reports.
The unidentified woman claimed she was forcibly removed from the “Liquor” singer’s tour bus outside a Denver strip club last month. Breezy was in town shooting a music video with French Montana and Fetty Wap at the time.
Authorities declared the case “inactive” because they were unable to find evidence substantiating the woman’s allegations, which Brown denied from the start.
While he won this particular legal battle, the 26-year-old is still facing a ban from Australia over his 2009 assault on Rihanna. If Australian officials have a change of heart, Brown has offered to use the trip to raise awareness about domestic violence.
