Well, that was the case, though, when the Philadelphia rapper tried to make it into Drake’s home country. During Meek’s hearing yesterday, prosecutor Noel DeSantis reportedly began the court appearance with an opening statement and listed some of Meek's potential missteps, which included "being briefly stopped at the Canadian border in August," according to Philly.com.
While Drake himself had nothing to do with it, it seems his fans did. DeSantis continued by relaying that her phone was being blown up upon fans learning that Meek was trying to get into Canada. That’s some Player Hater of the Year nominee-type ish right there. Silky Johnson would be proud.
Also during Meek’s probation violation hearing, the public learned a little more about the seriousness of his relationship with Nicki Minaj as the two really seem to be on the path to marriage. Nicki posted a picture on Instagram yesterday of her wearing an enormous diamond ring, perhaps hinting an engagement to Meek.
