The holiday season puts most in the mood for giving, including Beyoncé.

Here’s the backstory: Safyre Terry, who lost her two brothers and sisters during a 2013 New York apartment fire and suffered serious burns herself, wanting nothing other than Christmas cards for the holiday (because she’s an angel).

Well, her request went viral as she received more than a million cards from people across the world. The news of this feel good story apparently caught Bey’s attention and she acted accordingly. According to The Root, Terry received a card from the pop singer along with a t-shirt reading “flawless” and an appropriately accompanying headband donning a bow.

"To My Survivor Safyre! You are such an incredible inspiration,” she hand-wrote inside the card. “Have a beautiful holiday."

Beyoncé is just the latest celebrity to send Safyre Terry a card. The Obamas, Michael Buble and Katy Perry are all among those brightening the 8-year-old’s holiday season for years to come.
