Ice Cube, A$AP Rocky and More Headed for Coachella 2016
It’s that time again.
The 2016 Coachella Valley Music Festival lineup was officially released Monday, revealing Ice Cube, A$AP Rocky, Rae Sremmurd and Joey Bada$.
In years past, headliners Kanye West, Jay Z and Drake fulfilled the rap quota, whereas Coachella 2016 has rock legends and alternative acts taking top billing among a musically eclectic roster. Guns ’N Roses, LCD Sondsystems and Calvin Harris headline this year’s festival, which kicks off April 15 and will be held over two consecutive weekends in Indio, Calif.
Cube and Rocky perform Saturday, April 16 and 23, the same days as Guns 'N Roses. Other performers in the rap and R&B/soul categories include Vince Staples, G-Eazy, DJ Mustard, Gary Clark Jr. and SZA.
