With so much secrecy surrounding Frank Ocean’s music, for some fans, any news is good news. Yesterday, Migos-affiliate Rich the Kid tweeted and deleted a screen-shot from his FaceTime session with Ocean, a major hint that some sort of collaboration was in the works.
The rumor is true, Fader later confirmed through a source. Rich and Ocean are expected to hit the studio today, but for what exactly, we’re not sure. The hopeful guess is that Ocean commissioned the New York rapper for his long-awaited second studio album, which Rich hinted to in more tweets.
Ocean, on the other hand, isn’t speaking publicly about his album, or anything else at the moment. (His last Tumblr posts were a dedication to the victims of the Paris tragedy, and shade for Donald Trump.)
Ocean’s debut, Channel Orange, was released in 2012.
