The rapper did his time and now wants his record wiped clean.

As reported by TMZ, Kanye West has filed a request to a judge to reward him for cleaning up his act by removing his misdemeanor battery conviction from his record.

After pleading no contest to the charge for his altercation with a paparazzi in 2014, West was ordered to perform 250 hours of community service and was placed on a 24-month probation. So basically, no harm, no foul because 'Ye followed through with his end of the deal. He also put in more time than he was required to volunteering at L.A. Trade Tech’s fashion school, and didn’t have any hiccups to violate his probation.

Since he now is eligible to have his record expunged, he has now reportedly filed the paperwork necessary to take care of his 2014 incident.

It’s a safe bet that a judge will comply with the request and that we may start seeing less and less of the old Kanye around, except on Twitter.
