Twitter Drags Mike Tyson Over Bizarre Prince Tribute

The tribute was just as strange as you imagine.

Countless celebrities took to Twitter to honor the passing of the rock and roll giant Prince on Thursday. Mike Tyson was one of them, but his tribute to the late icon is leaving people scratching their heads. In a bizarre mockup of an album cover posted to Twitter, Tyson shared a photoshopped image of his own face on Prince's head, with the word "Printhe" in place of "Prince."

It was a strange way to honor the late musician, to say the least:

Twitter was quick to weigh in, with some amused by the tribute but most others giving it some major side-eye:
