Gun Violence in Chicago: 1 Dead, 10 Wounded

This past weekend, one person was killed and 10 were wounded in gun violence in Chicago.

Gun violence in Chicago this past weekend left a 19-year-old man fatally shot and 13 other people, many of them in their teens and 20s, injured, according to NBC Chicago

Miguel Delgado was shot in the head early Saturday morning across the street from a bar in the Wicker Park neighborhood. He died at the scene minutes after he was struck.  

On Sunday night, a 25-year-old man was shot in the head. The man was in his car when two gunmen fired shots at him, police said. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition. 

Early Sunday, a 29-year-old man was shot in his right leg by someone in a group of people while he was standing on a sidewalk, police said.

A 17-year-old was entering a building on the South Side area Friday night when a gunman fired several shots at him. A bullet grazed him in the groin area. He was listed in good condition at a hospital.  

A 14-year-old girl was struck in the leg Friday afternoon, when she was caught in a crossfire between two groups of men.
