President Barack Obama shared his thoughts on the Michael Brown and Eric Garner grand jury decisions for the first time in an exclusive interview with BET Networks. In a sit down with BET News' Jeff Johnson at the White House, the president discussed the recent protests across the nation, as well as community concerns and calls for justice and equality after recent grand jury decisions.
"When you're dealing with something as deeply rooted as racism or bias in any society, you have to have vigilance but you have to recognize it's going to take some time, and you just have to be steady," said President Obama.
