A domestic dispute ended in a bloody death on Sunday in San Bernardino, California.

An 18-year-old woman was arrested Sunday (Jan. 17) in connection to the stabbing death of her boyfriend. Nakasia James is a suspect in the homicide of 21-year-old Dorian Powell, according to KTLA.com.

Lt. Rich Lawhead of the San Bernardino Police Department states that Powell was found dead inside of an apartment early Monday morning of Jan. 11. Around 2:35 a.m., police received a call in reference to a person who had been “stabbed by his girlfriend.” Officers responded to the call to find Powell suffering from severe stab wounds.

He was later pronounced dead at the scene.

It was no surprise to a young James, as she was being pursued as a “person of interest” in connection with the murder, according to investigators. In the later hours of Monday, a Facebook account belonging to “Nakasia Macc James” posted a status admitting to the murder.

"We was really fighting and I [got] the knife and stabbed him. Didn’t think I would hurt him [but] he died."

There is no comment from authorities regarding the social media post.
