Obama Responds to Girl Who Cried Because He Won't Be President Forever

Now we all crying.

Most of us are shedding a tear at the thought of President Obama vacating the White House at the end of this year, but few are in their feels as much as the granddaughter of Caprina D. Harris. A video of the little girl crying when she learned that Obama won't be president forever went viral this week, and in it, Harris promises her teary grandchild that they can write the President a letter to express her sadness:

President Obama didn’t wait for the letter to respond to the little girl. “Caprina, tell her to dry her tears, because I’m not going anywhere," POTUS wrote in the video's comments. "Once I leave the White House, I’ll still be a citizen just like her. And when she grows up, she can get involved right alongside me. In the meantime, I’ll keep an eye out for her letter, and we’ll always get to celebrate our birthday together!”

#ObamaAndKids. Gets us every time.
