Mark Zuckerberg Is Bummed to Find Out How Many Racists Work at Facebook

The CEO had to ask employees to stop crossing out Black Lives Matter slogans.

Facebook has long been scrutinized for the lack of diversity among its employees, and now the social media giant is facing a major issue when it comes to racial insensitivity. Yesterday, it was leaked that some Facebook employees have been scratching out “Black Lives Matter” slogans on the graffiti wall at the company's headquarters and writing “All Lives Matter” in its place.
Zuckerberg seems pretty bummed about the conduct of his employees (side note: only 2 percent of Facebook employees are Black), and shared his thoughts in a private company memo:

“We’ve never had rules around what people can write on our walls,” the announcement said. “We expect everybody to treat each other with respect.” When referencing the crossing out of “Black Lives Matter,” Zuckerberg wrote, “This has been deeply hurtful and tiresome experience for the Black community and really the entire Facebook community, and we are now investigating the current incidents.”

One easy solution to this problem that Zuckerberg can consider? Hiring Kanye West to lead a seminar on race relations:
