Don't Let the Smooth Taste Fool Ya!

Don't Let the Smooth Taste Fool Ya!

New beer uses vaginal bacteria as main ingredient.

Move over IPA and microbrews. There's a new sheriff in town as far as beer is concerned — and that sheriff's name is Yoni. No... not the Greek new age keyboardist from the '90s — that's Yanni — this is Yoni which, means vagina in Hindu.

A startup known as The Order of Yoni is currently seeking donations to produce beer that has been fermented by a woman's vagina. As the company put it in the their Indiegogo profile:

“The secret of the beer lies in her vagina. Using hi-tech of microbiology, we isolate, examine and prepare lactic acid bacteria from vagina of a unique woman. The bacteria, lactobacillus, transfers woman’s features, allure, grace, glamour, and her instincts into beers and other products, turning them into a dance with lovely angel.”

The term “sobering” is usually never uttered as far as beer is concerned — but that's what happens once it’s realized that the folks at the Order of Yoni are serious.

The startup really makes beer with vaginal bacteria. So who is the woman behind this brave, bold brew? Czech model Alexandra Brendlova. The young model is described as “[a] kind of a female whose pheromones will stay with you after the meeting for the following week long.”

If that description is not enough to make you reach for your wallet to donate, maybe some of the perks will. If you donate 10,000 euros, you receive 60 bottles of delicious beer produced from your girlfriend's own vaginal bacteria. That's as good as homemade. It doesn't get any fresher than that, folks.

The company has currently raised 464 euros, which at the moment is well short of their 150,000 euro goal.
