Jacqueline Rutherford-Brown was just settling into her life at a US naval base when the law caught up to her.

Authorities were looking for Rutherford-Brown in connection to the stabbing death of a man during a botched robbery in Chicago. The 21-year-old woman allegedly killed Ismael Rangle, 38, at a house party in 2013, but police just issued a warrant for her arrest last month.

She was one of two people police were looking for in connection with Rangle’s death.

Authorities began their search for Rutherford-Brown in Virginia, where she was believed to have gone after fleeing Chicago following her alleged crime. But investigators eventually tracked her down on Monday at a naval base in Key West, Florida, where she’d been living for a month with her husband, an enlisted sailor.

Rutherford-Brown, who also goes by the name Jackie Brown, was arrested without incident at the Sigsbee Navy Base Lodge and booked into the Monroe County Jail, where she’s currently awaiting extradition. Her unnamed accomplice has not been found
