Elijah Connor was once a contestant on a reality TV show produced by Donald Trump in 2011. Connor recently told Buzzfeed News that while he participated in The Ultimate Merger, a show in which 14 men competed to win the affection of Toccara Jones, a model who first competed on America’s Next Top Model, Trump made comments about Jones’s breasts.
According to Connor, Trump, along with his assistant, met with several of the contestants at a top-floor suite at the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas. Connor and the others unexpectedly met with Trump during the second week of filming.
While talking with the contestants, Trump asked how they liked Jones, said Connor.
Then Trump said, “Ah, she wasn’t my first pick, but she slimmed down for the show.”
Connor recalled Trump then adding, “Hopefully she still has those big jugglers,” speaking of Jones’s breasts.
“Here’s a guy who owns a billion-dollar company, taking a cheap shot at her breasts. I’m literally standing there shocked,” Connor told BuzzFeed News. “I think I just stood there in amazement, like, ‘Did this guy just say this?’ Literally this is like how my little cousin talks, who is 12, and going through puberty.”
Cedric Bello, another contestant on the show, told BuzzFeed News that those in the room who met Trump told him about the mentioning of Jones’s weight and her breasts.
Connor was so ashamed after Trump’s alleged remarks about Jones that he then purposefully tried to lose on the show so that he could return home.
“We had to film the next day and I wanted to go home,” Connor said. “I actually did something to get voted off because I wanted to go home.”
Connor explained to Buzzfeed that when Jones visited the contestants, he sat on the couch and ignored her the whole time. Connor was voted off at the next round.
Here's a clip from the show when Toccara confronted the men about potential racist behavior.
