  1. During a rally in Hershey, Pennsylvania, Donald Trump attributed part of his election win to all the African-Americans who did not vote

The comment was made during President-elect Trump's "Thank You" tour. Although all polls showed that Donald Trump did extremely poor with Black voters, he likened an absence of votes from African-Americans with support for his campaign.

  2. The insinuations that Black people didn't vote because they did not want Hillary in office upset many people

After Trump made the comment, the Hershey crowd began applauding. Regardless of how he intended the statement to sound, it was clear his supporters took it as a sign that Black voters support Donald Trump.

  3. Additionally, many people pointed out the racist voter laws that kept many Black people from voting
