In addition to the immigration and refugee ban ordered by the president, Trump recently bashed a refugee resettlement deal with Australia made by the Obama administration.

The agreement called for 1,000 displaced refugees to be relocated to the United States. Because Australia is a close ally to the U.S., this deal is not surprising to many. However, for Donald Trump, the resettlement plan was the “worst deal ever” and led to a hasty phone call between the two world leaders, according to the Washington Post.

  1. President Trump then sent a late night tweet blasting the deal
  2. Many cannot believe that the president did not study the deal before this moment
  3. Additionally, many fear the president is burning a crucial bridge with our nation's ally
