'Please Take a Moment of Alternative Silence': We Are Screaming Over the Roasting of Kellyanne Conway for Citing 'Bowling Green Massacre'

Media failed to cover the event because it never happened.

Published February 3, 2017

  1. In an interview with MSNBC, Kellyanne Conway defended the Trump administration by citing an unknown 'Bowling Green Massacre'
  2. The president’s counselor claimed it was not covered by the media, which is true – because it never happened
  3. Immediately, people saw the claim as an attempt to justify banning people from Muslim-majority countries
  4. Eventually, the bowling green massacre was turned into a hilarious troll session of Conway and Trump’s entire administration
  5. There were 'I remember when' anecdotes
  6. References to Betsy Devos
  7. And cold-blooded jokes that we can’t stop laughing at
  8. Although it was completely made up, there are ways to honor the BGM
  9. We should also take time to remember a different massacre in bowling green
  10. Maybe the bowling green massacre played a hand in the inauguration turnout
  11. Not to mention the fact that Hillary's emails definitely had something to do with it (because they are the root of all evil)
  12. On this day, we remember the true victims who risked it all on that devastating day in Bowling Green
  13. As well as those kids who could've used some Devos gun logic to protect themselves from wild animals
  14. The best news to come from this awful Conway blunder is the BGM victims fund, which donates to the ACLU
