On Sunday, a customer was forcibly removed from an overbooked United Airlines flight from Chicago to Louisville, Kentucky. Passengers were told four people were needed to volunteer to give up their seats to accommodate traveling crew members.

When no one volunteered, the airline contacted security to come and remove passengers. When a doctor and his wife was selected, he informed the crew that he needed to get to his patients and could not give up his seat.

He was then dragged off the plane in an extremely aggressive manner.

  1. Passengers recorded the disturbing incident on their phones
  2. The disgust of several witnesses can be heard as the man is dragged down the aisle
  3. Eventually the man, still shaken up from the ordeal, was allowed to return to his seat
  4. One passenger recorded the visibly shaken man as he mumbled "just kill me"
  5. United released an official statement apologizing for overbooking the flight
  6. The bizarre treatment of the passenger has resulted in much negative press for the airline
