President Trump Tells Fox News' Maria Bartiromo He Enjoyed 'the Most Beautiful Piece of Chocolate Cake' During the Syria Missile Strikes

The two engaged in what's being called a "tone-deaf and giddy" conversation.

On Wednesday, President Trump sat down with Fox Business to discuss the recent missile strikes in Syria. During the conversation with Maria Bartiromo, Trump revealed he told Chinese President Xi about the 59 missiles while enjoying a decadent dessert. 

  1. According to Trump, he told Xi about the missile strike as he ate a delicious piece of chocolate cake
  2. As he spoke about the cake and the missiles, Bartiromo appeared oddly 'giddy'
  3. The light tone of the conversation came across as off-putting to many people
  4. At one point, Trump accidentally referred to Iraq when speaking about the missile strike
  5. In a nutshell, Mar-a-Lago has delicious chocolate cake and Trump may or may not believe we sent missiles to Iraq
