Many Are Praising Michelle Obama's Promise to Keep Working for Girls' Education

Our favorite first lady subtweeted Trump for removing Let Girls Learn.

Earlier this week, the Trump administration announced it would be ending "Let Girls Learn," the education initiative for underprivileged girls around the globe. The program was started by Barack and Michelle Obama and was mainly performed through the Peace Corps.

Although Trump does not want to continue the Obama's legacy initiative, Michelle Obama is determined to keep working for girls everywhere. 

  1. On Wednesday morning, Michelle Obama tweeted she and Barack will 'continue to champion issues close to our hearts,' including girls' education
  2. Although Obama's tweet did not reference Trump's administration, some people felt this was the FLOTUS's way of a classy clapback
  3. Obama's vow to continue to positively impact the lives of others has made many call her a legend
