#ThingsJesusNeverSaid Is Trending Because Republicans Went Against Religion To Pass Their Health Care Plan

Luckily the bill, in its current form, is not getting past the Senate.

House Republicans were giddy after passing their Obamacare repeal and replacement bill. Perhaps more unbearable than the provisions that would kick millions and millions of people off their insurance, was the smug celebration they and Donald Trump threw right afterward.

  • Basically, a bunch of white men got together and partied over a bill that has pretty much zero chance getting through the Senate. They didn’t have the last laugh, though.

Twitter was lit when the hashtag #ThingsJesusNeverSaid became a trending topic. It plays into the hypocrisy that GOPers display when they claim to be the Bible party, yet ignore just about every one of Christ’s positive messages, including taking care of the sick and poor.

"’Sorry, I would heal you, but leprosy is a pre-existing condition.’" #ThingsJesusNeverSaid,” tweeted a user. “Never help a stranger until they are vetted. #ThingsJesusNeverSaid,” another joked.

As mentioned before, the bill is not likely to pass through the Senate, who is already reportedly working on an alternative bill via a 12-member committee.

Regardless, check out some of the hilarity below over the #ThingsJesusNeverSaid hashtag.
