After the Comey firing on Tuesday, the Washington Post published a report which claimed Spicer was “hidden in the darkness” of White House bushes to hide from the flock of media outlets demanding answers.
As a result, Spicer said the Washington Post “misstated the situation around our attempt to brief the press,” according to Politico. Additionally, Politico reported Spicer was more upset about his portrayal than the chaotic scene at the White House.
Many have joked Spicer will be hiding yet again after he sees McCarthy's impression of him.
