Police in Oklahoma arrested a man on June 9 after he allegedly conspired to rape a newborn baby, reported KFOR.

According to the Midwest City Police Department, 39-year-old Daniel Thomas J. Deffner shared child pornography and discussed sexually abusing a child with an unidentified person on Facebook. In the messages, the two discussed raping and torturing the unborn child of a pregnant woman.

Officials say the Midwest City Police discovered Deffner was also messaging the pregnant woman. When the horrific sexual acts were described to the mother, she not only agreed to allow Deffner to molest the child, but she also said she wanted to take part, according to officials.

“This is one of, if not the sickest things I’ve ever heard of, and I can’t describe the evil and deranged details of what they were planning to do to this innocent and defenseless baby,” Canadian County Sheriff Chris West said in a news release.

As police opened an investigation into Deffner, they discovered he allegedly manipulated an 11-year-old girl to send him nude photos. He also allegedly arranged a meet up with the child earlier this year, said authorities.

Deffner faces charges for Procuring a Minor in Child Pornography, Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

“It sickens me to no end that an 11-year-old girl spent any amount of time alone with such a sick and demented individual as Deffner. I pray that baby wasn’t scarred for life,” said West.

The pregnant woman — whose identity remains unknown — had her children placed into protective custody with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, according to authorities.

Officials with the Canadian County Sheriff’s Office say charges on the woman are being handled by the Midwest City Police Department.
