The Cannibal Porn Star Who Dismembered and Ate His Lover Is Set to Marry a Fellow Inmate

Luka Rocca Magnotta is suspected of sending dismembered body parts to offices across Canada.
Magnotta, described as a "low budget porn actor", allegedly filmed himself hacking his victim's body with an ice pick before posting the video online.
He is the subject of a national manhunt after a man's maggot-ridden torso was found a locked suitcase by his Montreal apartment block.

A convicted murderer and former porn star in Canada is set to marry a fellow inmate later this month, according to, TVA Nouvelles, a Quebec TV station.

Luka Rocco Magnotta killed and dismembered Chinese student and alleged lover Jun Lin in 2012. Magnotta was convicted in 2014 and was sentenced to life in a maximum-security prison. However, Magnotta’s time in jail did not deprive him from scouring for his future “prince charming.”

In June 2015, Magnotta posted to Canadian Inmates Connect Inc., a website that connects lonely convicts. In his profile, Magnotta described himself and what he was looking for.

“Seeking single white male, 28-38 years of age, white and in shape,” read Magnotta's profile as read by the website’s founder.

“One who is loyal, preferably educated, financially and emotionally stable for a long-term committed relationship. If you think you could be my prince charming, send me a detailed letter with at least 2 photos.”

Next week, Magnotta will marry a male inmate from the penitentiary in Port-Cartier, on Quebec’s North Shore.
