A Texas family recently shared an adoption story that went viral on Twitter and inspired others to share theirs as well.

About a year ago, the Hamilton family welcomed baby Coleman into their home. When Coleman was born, he developed a condition that required surgery on his stomach due to his parents' addiction to drugs.

Due to Coleman's condition, Child Protective Services called upon the baby's extended family to see if anyone could become his guardian.

Kaysi and her husband, Randy Hamilton, took Coleman into their family with no hesitation. Coleman's first cousin Blaine, Kaysi and Randy's daughter, also helped with the new baby.

  1. As Coleman began to grow into a healthy baby, Blaine shared the family's story to Twitter
  2. Not only did Blaine's tweet go viral, but it also inspired others to share their stories
  3. Some shared how they took in babies severely addicted to drugs and watched them grow up healthy and happy
  4. Others shared how the misfortunes the children suffered open up the doors for adoption
