Parents Outraged After An Image Of Their 4-Year-Old Daughter Duct-Taped To A Chair At Day Care Was Shared On Snapchat
Parents in Florissant, Missouri, were infuriated when they were shown a picture that allegedly shows their 4-year-old daughter duct-taped to a chair while at day care.
Elysha Brooks and Christian Evans, parents of the unidentified girl, were first made aware of the incident when the Department of Children and Family Services contacted them and showed them the image, reported WBRC.
"I'm looking at a picture of my daughter duct-taped to a chair, and her facial expression, I can just imagine how she felt," Brooks told WBRC.
Brooks said the picture could have been taken when her daughter was attending Little Learners of Florissant day care. However, Brooks also said the day care never informed her of an incident involving her child. Both parents are demanding answers about what happened and why no one let them know.
"I won't be happy until that day care is shut down, for one, and whoever did this to my child, whoever it is, either – it's not an either – she needs to be in jail,” Evans told WBRC. "Seeing your child duct-taped to a chair, seeing the anxiety, seeing how scared your kid is, knowing for one that you're not there to protect them and knowing for two that you have people around that would stoop to that level to hurt your child puts you in a crazy mind state.”
