It’s hard to think anything could top Donald Trump’s deplorable speech last night (Aug. 22) to a bunch of his supporters in Phoenix. But, since surprises are the new normal in politics these days, something kind of did.
Tuesday’s night’s speech in Arizona placed the president in a good mood, since he needed cheering up from all the negative headlines that have come his way recently (and always). What overshadowed his continued defense of white supremacy though was a Black man standing behind Trump holding a “blacks for Trump” sign.
Now, it’s already bad that a Black man has so much self-hate that he’s willing to resort to openly support a man so against his interests, but the icing on the cake was exactly who he is.
The man, who was also wearing a “TRUMP & Republicans Are Not Racist” T-shirt, goes by the aliases Michael the Black Man, Michael Symonette, Maurice Woodside and Mikael Israel, according to the Washington Post. The URL on his T-shirt says it all and it wasn’t hard finding out about his shady past.
The Post also reports that Michael is from Miami, once belonged to a group called Yawweh ben Yahweh and believes Hillary Clinton is a Ku Klux Klan member and that Oprah is the devil. He’s also reportedly been charged with and acquitted of conspiracy to commit two murders.
Even with all this, Trump’s team thought it’d be a great idea to stick him behind the president. As long as he can fly in a Black man and show at least one supports him, anything goes, right?
Well, social media tore Donald Trump a new one over this latest development (what else is new). They also questioned whether the man is actually black, which has been confirmed, but is still unbelievable. Check out what they had to say along with video of Trump’s speech below.

If you are holding a "Blacks for Trump" sign, shouldn't there be MORE than one of you?
