Donald Trump, as expected, pardoned a sheriff who is a known racist and used illegal tactics in-order to profile Hispanics and abuse and/or arrest them.
The announcement was made last night, just before the president took to Twitter to announce the pardon of former Arizona sheriff Joe Arpaio. Just about everyone who has any sense of decency called Trump out for doing what was so obviously the wrong thing. Snoop Dogg had one of the best responses and decided to post a video of his reaction.
I am pleased to inform you that I have just granted a full Pardon to 85 year old American patriot Sheriff Joe Arpaio. He kept Arizona safe!

“This n***a is crazy,” he said to the camera. “This n***a talking bout letting off a straight racist out of jail. I tell you cuz, America, if you don’t see this s**t… I don’t get it man. All my n***as – Chicago, Detroit, New York, L.A., Atlanta, D.C., and all in-between, New Orleans, Houston – you know what it is. It’s time for us to get together.”
Other people called out 45 as well. John McCain, who’s a senator from the state, tweeted, “@POTUS's pardon of Joe Arpaio, who illegally profiled Latinos, undermines his claim for the respect of rule of law.” Rep. Maxine Waters also condemned him and said this is nothing new.
“I'm not surprised Trump pardoned racial profiler Arpaio,” she tweeted. “White Nationalists, KKK, & Duke celebrated Trump's election b/c he is one of them!”

By pardoning Sheriff Arpaio, President Trump has once again made clear where he stands: on the side of racism and discrimination.

Arpaio action was appalling & political. It also sends message to witnesses in Russia investigation to keep quiet, stay loyal & get pardon.

Trump's pardon of Arpaio is a signal to scum like Manafort & Flynn that they don't need to squeal for a deal because he's gonna protect 'em.
