Video footage and pictures are surfacing at the church where Kenneka Jenkins’ life was celebrated on Saturday (September 30).

The images and footage, taken just hours before her funeral service, show the young woman’s casket being pushed into the church and mark three weeks since she was found frozen to death inside a suburban Chicago hotel’s storage freezer.

A cause of death has yet to be officially determined in Jenkins’ death. Controversy over the moments leading up to her death continue to permeate her community and the investigation.

The discovery of her body was made a full 24 hours after the 19-year-old was last seen at a party on the 9th floor of the hotel. 47 cameras captured 36 hours of surveillance video footage, but none showed Kenneka actually walking into the freezer, which leads to speculation over whether she voluntarily entered it and closed the door.
