People Are Questioning Why Cariann Hithon Was Shot Dead While The White Man Who Killed A Cop Was Arrested Alive
After the shooting of 22-year-old Cariann Hithon, many have questioned why her life had to end when a white man who killed an officer was brought in alive.
On Sunday night, Hithon was fatally shot by Miami Beach police after striking an officer with her BMW. Witnesses on the scene claimed Hithon appeared to be under the influence of either drugs or alcohol.
As a result of Hithon hitting the accelerator in the group of pedestrians, Officer David Cajuso was knocked to the ground. Cajuso has since been released from the hospital, reported CBS Miami.

Hithon's shooting comes on the heels of the arrest of a white man who confessed to killing a texas officer
Nineteen-year-old Texas Tech student Hollis Daniels III confessed to killing campus police officer Floyd East after being taken into the campus station on drug related charges, reported NPR.
After the university went into lock down for about an hour, police found Daniels, tackled him to the ground, and detained him.
Some questioned why Daniels was allowed to be taken in alive, while Hithon was killed on the spot
