Melania Trump just can’t get it right, at least not with Twitter anyway. Hours after her “time-honored traditions” inspired Christmas decor was compared to films like Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas, Trump was dragged once again online, but for a separate set of holiday festivities.
Footage of the FLOTUS embracing a group of predominately African-American children attending a #WhiteHouseChristmas event went viral igniting a slew of commentary on her interactions with the young kids.
"Are you the First Lady!?” a boy asked as he embraced Mrs. Trump with a hug during the White House Christmas event. “She seriously looks like an angel,” another child said. The First Lady unveiled Christmas decorations at the White House on Monday. . . . . . . . #flotus #melaniatrump #firstladymelaniatrump #trump #whitehouse #christmas #whitehousechristmas #nbcnightlynews
While Trump took to Twitter dishing on the good time she had with the children from the Joint Base Andrews Naval Facility, other Twitter users weren’t impressed at all.

Now that @FLOTUS is celebrating with black kids,I hope she'll find time to advocate for their healthcare & woman's health along side with her bully campaign, then we can finally say THANK YOU Mrs #MelaniaTrump just as we did for @FLOTUS44 ✌🏽✌🏾✌🏿 https://t.co/ZBPTIJ8Sqg— SAQueenLaw (@shukuratALawal1) November 27, 2017
How much did they pay those parents that allowed their kids to hug Melania? lol That didn't look authentic at all. 😩— Rai (@Raysuh_) November 28, 2017
Is that the Black Children's table? Who let their kids get used like this? These parents need a talking too. Melania is not that kind of woman.— Claudia (@Claudia91919) November 28, 2017
