After having her story about getting bullied by people at her school go viral, a teenager is now receiving backlash for several past tweets which many are calling "racist."

Bailey's story began with a series of heartbreaking texts sent to her mom, asking her to bring a change of clothes in order to stop people from making fun of her outfit.

  1. On the day of the incident, Bailey wore a dress which showed her legs
  2. At some point in the day, a boy named Dylan took a photo of Bailey's legs on Snapchat with the caption 'thicc'
  3. After learning that people were making fun of her, Bailey texted her mother begging for new clothes
  4. After Bailey's story was shared to Twitter, the teen received support from many
  5. However, some people had a change of heart after finding a past tweet where Bailey asked, "If I say 'I hate Black people' am I racist?"

Although Bailey has since deleted the tweet, she has kept a similar tweet wherein she asks the same about white people.

  6. The screenshot of the tweet resulted in many questioning her past remarks

According to a report by DailyMail.com, Bailey also used the words "n***a" and "f*g" in past tweets, which have since been removed.

  7. Someone who appears to know Bailey defended the teen's use of the n-word in prior tweets

BET News reached out to Bailey and she declined to comment.
