A public school teacher in Florida is being accused of being the voice of a white supremacist blog and podcast called “Unapologetic”.

  1. 25-year-old Dayanna Volitich is a teacher at Crystal River Middle School but her online alias is allegedly Tiana Dalichov. Under that pseudonym, she ran a Twitter account where she aspoused even more hateful ideas.

On the latest episode of her podcast, which is on iTunes, Volitich discussed her white nationalist views and how she spread them to the children she was teaching at school. Via Twitter, Volitich described white privilege and institutional racism “bullshit concepts.”

The Huffington Post linked her to the podcast earlier this week and published her tweets and photographs on Saturday before she deleted her Facebook and Twitter accounts.

  2. During the latest podcast, Volitich had on Lana Lokteff as a guest. Lokteff is the host of Red Ice TV, an alt-right internet YouTube channel based in Sweden.

'I told the kids guys when they're in here I'm going to be different than I usually am. I don't want you to be shocked I just want you to play along,” Volitich said during the show. “The first time it happened they were like ‘what the hell is happening now.’ I put on my nice voice.

“I'm getting a bit more underhanded. If kids ask a question, I had kids asking about the government shutdown a couple of weeks ago. I have kids that ask about North Korea,” she continued. “I have kids asking about ISIS and Saudi Arabia and all types of things. I told them at the beginning of the year that if you have questions, I will answer you.”

“I'm not going to give you a biased view of anything. I'll give you the facts and you can make up your own mind,” she concluded. “One thing that annoys me about is the books that we have too. Even though they're pretty decent books, when it comes to explaining our side of the story you never get the other side. That's just something as a history person, always bothered me. We only get one side of the narrative and we grow up being completely ignorant.”

Crystal River School says they’re investigating the tweets and podcast. They also claim that the views espoused by Dayanna Volitich are not theirs. Volitich has not publicly responded to being outed as of yet.

Suffice to say, this made social media angry. The fact that this hateful person was put into a position to teach kids has Twitter users rightfully on edge. See what they had to say below.
