Man Brutally Beat And Stabbed 19-Year-Old Prostitute To Death While She Begged For Her Life

John Gillum faces charges of homicide and sexual assault.

A Milwaukee man told police he beat and stabbed a 19-year-old woman he described as a prostitute after having a dispute over how much money he would pay.

John Gillum, 29, said he killed Morgan Huennekens before wrapping her up in sheets and dragging the body to a shed behind his home on Sunday. He then turned himself into authorities and admitted to committing a homicide, reported Fox6Now.

Gillum faces one count of first-degree intentional homicide and one count of second-degree sexual assault for the death of Huennekens.

According to a criminal complaint, Gillum told police he “lost control and killed her with a knife and pipe.”

During an interview with investigators, Gillum said he met Huennekens and messaged her about “having sex for money.” He said while Huennekens was at his home, they were discussing the price of sex and Huennekens threatened to leave if he did not pay what she requested.

Gillum said this made him angry and he punched Huennekens in the face before covering her mouth and tying her up. He said he had sex with her and then “took a knife and stabbed her in the neck. ” He said he “remembered from watching movies how to stab someone,” according to court documents.

Gillum said Huennekens was beginning to suffer, so he grabbed a metal pipe and hit her with it “so she no longer had to suffer.”

The next day, Gillum was re-interviewed by investigators and he confessed to arguing with Huennekens when she didn’t have change to give him after he paid $200 for $160 sex acts.

The complaint says he admitted to stabbing her “five to six times because she was not dying fast enough.”

He said Huennekens told him to stop and “begged for her life.” He said he “took this into consideration,” but once he punched her “it all happened in one wave.”

An autopsy revealed Huennekens died as a result of numerous stab wounds and blunt force injuries.
