"Time to renew my subscription indefinitely."

Former President Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama are in conversation with Netflix to potentially negotiate a series of multiple shows centered around uplifting stories.

According to sources close to the negotiations, the deal would allegedly involve Netflix paying the Obamas for rights to exclusive content produced specifically for the streaming company, reported The New York Times.

Although there are no details about how many shows they could produce or how the shows would be formatted, people are already excited about the innumerable possibilities.

  1. Hearing the Obamas may be coming to Netflix was, for some, the best news since before Trump took office
  2. Although Obama does not intend for the Netflix shows to address President Trump or his administration, people can’t help but imagine how the Donald might react
  3. If this deal pulls through, Netflix may see a dramatic rise in their subscribers
