Police harass people of color on the daily, but in the vast majority of cases, they’re not recorded by the harassee.

In Sacramento though, just such an instance was recorded by the girlfriend of a man who was pulled over for no reason and asked questions by a cop.

Kash Alpha, who was previously arrested because he had a registered firearm in his car without a concealed carry permit, was pulled over by the same officer who cited him the last time. Via the video, you can hear the cop ask, “I just want to see who’s in your car today.”

“My girlfriend,” Kash responded, to which the officer replied, “Obviously, last time you were riding with some bad dudes.”

Afterward, you can see the police officer snidely look into the camera and turn to tell his ride along officer that Kash is trying to get him fired. Kash then called his attorney and got her on the phone.

CBS attempted to reach out to the Sacramento Police Department for comment about the officer in the video. They declined. Of course.
