Last weekend, Miami’s DJ IRIE turned the party up at his celebrity-filled Monster Electronics 14th Annual Irie Weekend presented by South Florida Ford. During the four-day charity bash, from June 28-July 1, there were performances, galas, auctions and events to raise money for the IRIE Foundation.
The Irie Foundation works year round to improve and create a positive impact on the lives of South Florida’s at-risk youth
All proceeds and donations from the evening events and auctions will go towards the completion of the Irie Rhythms Academy, a state of the art music and technology center that will provide lessons to students in our community at no cost.
This year's weekend included a Concert on the Green, BBQ Beach Bash & Concert Presented by Samsung in Miami, Turn Down For Brunch, the annual Give From the Heart #InspIRIE Dinner Gala presented by Tito’s Handmade Vodka, and more.
"Seeking to empower at-risk youth to lead productive lives through cultural experiences, educational initiatives mentorship programs, and scholarship opportunities. The Irie Foundation follows the young people it serves from middle school, through high school, and beyond, ultimately aiming to inspire students to graduate, pursue higher education, and aspire towards developing into successful adults," according to the Irie Foundation mission statement.
