Man Accused Of Crawling Into Bed With Son’s Girlfriend And Trying To Rape Her Blames Sleepwalking

A Georgia man who was accused of crawling into bed with his son’s girlfriend and attempting to have sex with her told police he was sleepwalking.

According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, 54-year-old Ricardo Arturo Cole Sr. was arrested on a rape charge Wednesday.

The incident took place on April 8 when the unidentified victim was asleep in a home that her boyfriend shared with Cole. While she was asleep, she felt someone get into bed with her, but she assumed it was her boyfriend.

When the person pulled down her pants and attempted to have sexual intercourse, she turned around and saw Cole. She immediately pushed him away.

According to police, Cole apologized and said he’d been sleepwalking. In May, she reported the incident to police after cutting Cole and his son out of her life.
